PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
Mr. Kopchick’s state and federal court practice focuses on business litigation, defense of legal malpractice and medical malpractice claims, professional liability defense, appellate litigation, criminal defense, internal investigations and family law.

Mr. Kopchick joined Haar & Woods, LLP in October 2014 and became a partner in 2019. Prior to joining Haar & Woods, LLP, Mr. Kopchick was an Associate in the Securities Litigation and White Collar Defense Group at Goodwin Procter, LLP in Boston, Massachusetts. Mr. Kopchick graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School in 2011. While in law school, he spent two years as a member of the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau, where he served as lead counsel in family law and administrative matters, and received the Betty Allebach Award honoring commitment and service to the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau.  Mr. Kopchick also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Yale University. In 2018, Mr. Kopchick was recognized with an Up & Coming Award by Missouri Lawyers Media. He has also been recognized as a Missouri-Kansas Super Lawyer in business litigation, and recognized by The Best Lawyers in America in the practice area of Appellate Litigation.
