Community
The firm’s lawyers have strong community ties and have served on the St. Louis Board of Police Commissioners and the boards of Saint Louis Ballet, Dance St. Louis and the St. Louis Sports Commission. This commitment to the community is also reflected in pro bono work. Our lawyers have been recognized by one of the City’s most prominent neighborhood organizations for the defense under the First Amendment of neighborhood residents who were sued for their public participation in efforts to address problem rental properties. Our lawyers are also involved in providing pro bono services through Volunteer Lawyers and Accountants for the Arts and Christian Legal Aid.
In addition, members of the firm are actively involved in the professional community. This includes service on the Missouri Supreme Court’s Ad Hoc Committee on Expert Discovery and the District Judge Education Advisory Committee of the Federal Judicial Center, to which one of our lawyers was appointed by the Chief Justice of the United States. Members of our firm have chaired the Civil Justice Reform Act Advisory Group for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri and the Litigation Reform Task Force of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.
